He has been working in the field of intellectual property since 1997, mainly in the areas of trademarks, designs and copyrights.

For 15 years he was head of the trademark department of a major IP consultancy firm in Milan.

He gained extensive experience in the full spectrum of trademark/design/copyright counseling, dealing with the formulation of filing strategies, the definition of trademark search formats, the structuring of prosecution and the enforcement of trademark rights before the EUIPO and foreign trademark offices.

He has personally conducted international negotiations for the settlement of trademark and design agreement with direct contact with foreign counterparts, and has also supervised litigation and appeals before the General Court of the EU.

His clients include multinational and large Italian and foreign companies, as well as small and medium-sized Italian companies operating in the luxury goods, mechanical, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, energy and transport sectors.

Since 2003, he has participated as a speaker in numerous conferences on industrial property and has been asked to give lectures on the professional training of trademark attorney
